Description

Eid Al-Adha is a very festive and busy day for Muslims all over the world. It is also a busy day for the Amish of Ohio because many Muslims come to their farm to purchase a sheep for the Eid holiday. This story is about two sisters, Noor and Asiyah, that accompanies their father this year to the farm. They are excited to see all of the farm animals. The Amish women and the Muslims usually don't interact with one another. They smile and continue on their way. Asiyah and Noor paid no attention to protocol when they asked Mr. Smuckers' daughters for a tour of the animal barn. Onlookers watched in amazement as the girls interacted with each other. They all began to wonder why hadn't they talked with the other.
