About the Author
Roberta Ruggiero is President and Founder of The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc.; a nonprofit organization she founded in 1980. Her purpose was, and still is, to be the world leader in disseminating information about the causes, effects and latest treatment of functional hypoglycemia, also known as low blood sugar. Roberta knows firsthand the plight of the hypoglycemic because she's been there. After 10 years of being misdiagnosed, a simple GTT (glucose tolerance test) and proper DIET finally put her on the road to recovery. She now inspires and gives hope to those suffering from hypoglycemia around the world. Roberta resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
