About the Author
Editor Neil Malhotra is the Edith M. Cornell Professor of Political Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been teaching business ethics at the Stanford GSB since 2008. He is also the Director of the Center for Social Innovation, where he manages the Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation. In addition to developing a curriculum focused on social issues, impact measurement, and mission-driven business, he manages cocurricular activities related to impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management. His research has investigated issues such as democratic accountability, political polarization, and the relationship between business, society, and government. He earned his PhD in political science from Stanford University and his BA in economics from Yale University.
