About the Author
Dare You Stamp Co. was founded in 1776 when noted Philadelphian Jeremiah Dare was hired by the not-yet-Founding Fathers to print draft copies of the Declaration of Independence. When the documents arrived at Independence Hall, an unfortunate typo read "When in the Curse of human events..." So irate was George Washington that he said, "The foolish and wicked practice of profane cursing and swearing is a vice so mean and low that every person of sense and character detests and despises it." Dare's instinct was to simply reply, "Fuck you." Today, the Editors of Dare You Stamp Company continue to bring you belligerent content as a subset of Cider Mill Press.

Having moved around a lot over the years, from the Orkney islands to Bournemouth on the south coast of England, Felicity's love for the countryside and the coast inspires her illustrative style. She draws everything by hand and has a fine collection of pens! Her favourite things to draw include animals, birds and flowers, drawing inspiration from the outdoors and being surrounded by nature. She likes to incorporate pattern into her work and is especially inspired by Scandinavian and Paisley design. She has illustrated many colouring books that vary in style, ranging from "Colour by Numbers" and "Flip It" character books for very young children, to activity books including puzzles and word games, to very intricate patterned colouring pages for adults. She has also worked on several colouring journals focusing on hand drawn type, borders and doodle pages.
