About the Author
Jeff and his wife Mackenzie, who experienced the loss of their daughter Zoe, are the founders and visionaries behind Hope Family Care, a nonprofit organization that brings hope and healing to child loss families. Through the sending of Hope Bags, Hope Family Retreats, and online & local communities, Hope Family Care has walked with hundreds of families throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. All of their married lives, the Rollins's have been ministering together. They have had the privilege of being youth leaders, ministering to students in the various schools where they have taught, as missionaries in Ecuador, through lay counseling, training, and teaching discipleship, and now as the founders of Hope Family Care. Jeff and Mackenzie live just north of Houston, Texas with three of their children, with great anticipation of being reunited with their daughter in Heaven one day soon. Mackenzie was born and raised in western Ohio. She attended Olivet Nazarene University where she earned bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish. She later completed her Master of Arts in Reading Specialist at San Diego State University. She has a passion for teaching, family discipleship, and helping others find Hope amidst their pain and suffering. Jeff grew up as the son of missionaries in Venezuela and attended a boarding school in Quito, Ecuador. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Wheaton College (IL) and later his Master's degree in Teaching Secondary Education from National University in San Diego, CA. He is passionate about walking with people through their brokenness and pain into a place of wholeness and healing. He loves teaching and speaking about how to find true Hope in the midst of the chaos of life.Jeff and his wife Mackenzie, who experienced the loss of their daughter Zoe, are the founders and visionaries behind Hope Family Care, a nonprofit organization that brings hope and healing to child loss families.
