Description
Answer follows question as day follows day in this beautifully written book of meditations designed to be shared by sponsor and sponsee through a year of recovery. Reflecting the developing sponsorship relationship, these daily meditations take the form of a thoughtful, down-to-earth exchange, suggesting the give-and-take of conversations between two recovering people. Day by day, If You Want What We Have takes up the practical and spiritual questions that arise in early recovery. In its honesty, clarity, depth, and direction, the "conversation" will serve as a trusty companion from fear and resistance to faith and commitment. Helpful for newcomers to any type of recovery: Alcohol or other drugs, gambling, overeating, etc.
