About the Author
Dr. TaMara is a certified clinical sexologist, sex therapist, best selling author and powerful transformational speaker with more than 20 years of experience speaking, researching, writing, and teaching about healthy sexuality. Dr. TaMara holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Human Sexuality, Doctorate degree in Human Sexuality, Masters degree in Social Work and a Masters degree in Education. She also has over 20 plus sexuality related certificates. Dr. TaMara has extensive experience working within various communities providing human sexuality education and HIV education. Dr. TaMara also was the lead author on the country's first faith based training manual for HIV/AIDS entitled: HIV/AIDS: A Manual for Faith Communities; which was endorsed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Coalition of Pastor's Spouses. Dr. TaMara has published numerous articles, books and curriculum; including several evidenced-based interventions for adolescents.
