Poof the Puffin and the Northern Lights

Poof is a Puffin that lives on the cliffs of Iceland. Poof is unlike his Puffin friends and loves to dance while his friends soar through the sky with the Northern Lights. When the Northern Lights fall to the earth as a young girl named Alis, only Poof has the skills and bravery required to help Alis learn to dance. This the story of how Poof helped Alis become the Northern Lights we know today.

This story is an imaginative telling of how the Northern Lights learned to dance, and how being an outsider with different interests can change the world for the better.

Brady loves to understand the origin of things, and to fill in the blanks with his own imagination. He spends his free time traveling as much as possible and loves cold places like Iceland. As a former kindergarten teacher in Japan and current employee at a rocket company, Brady has always enjoyed new challenging adventures. He is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Madison where he met his lovely wife Mina. Brady loves nature and the wonder that untouched wildlife brings.
