Description

In my first book on the subject of internal healing "A Guide to Shadow Work" I dissected what it means to work with our own personal shadow.

In this new instalment to the Shadow Work series I will go into the psychological origins of Shadow Work and what Carl Jung's theories were and what he believed is hidden within the human psyche.

I will introduce another Psychologist, or rather Psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, whose theories were rather controversial in his time and even in some circles today.

I believe if we take a more thorough and honest look at our unconscious, what we will find is that it is made up of our most shameful parts, the parts we couldn't and wouldn't dare show to another. And it is those most dirty, gritty, unnerving aspects that take their roots in our deepest most protected place inside of ourselves: Our sexuality... our most vulnerable expression of self.

We can say that having a wounded expression of sexuality does not in any way affect our lives as we navigate this world, however that couldn't be further from the truth.

In this book I will dissect how we heal our sexuality and open up to new and more beautiful relationships.
