About the Author
Randy L. Thurman started in the financial planning business in 1987, and has become widely recognized as one of the top financial advisors in the United States. He specializes in helping those who have retired (or are about to retire) have a comfortable income for life. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Financial Planner(TM) (CFP(R)), and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). Randy holds four degrees, including an MBA from Oklahoma State University, and has taught investing, personal finance, and economics at the college level. As a result of his many years of dedication and commitment to excellence, Randy is frequently lauded as one of the nation's most trusted investment advisors. He has been included six times on Worth magazine's annual list of Top Financial Advisers in the country, four times on Medical Economics' list of Best Financial Advisers, and three times on the Best of the U.S. list of Best Financial Advisors in the country.
