About the Author
Raised in Bremerhaven, Germany, the author lived five years in Spain before moving to Montreal in 1967 at the age of twenty five. After a two-year residency in Durham, North Carolina, she returned to Canada and settled in Ottawa. Fluent in four languages, the author is also an accomplished watercolour artist and was the founder and artistic director for thirty three years of the New Edinburgh Players, a fundraising community theatre in Ottawa.
