The Haunting of Booger County

Shrouded in gloom, Braxton House crumbles on its foundation in a secluded Ozarks hollow, all but forgotten after victims of a serial killer were unearthed there a year ago. Vacant except for ghosts and the occasional thrill seeker, the mansion still bears the family curse that drives its occupants mad. Ian sets up equipment to film his experiences in a paranormal documentary despite warnings from the locals and discovers there's far more to the term, "Beware the Bogeyman" than the old wives tale that gave the deceptively tranquil countryside its nickname.

About the Author
Janice Pestana has authored four non fiction books on historical locations and ghost stories associated with them, in Missouri and along Route 66 in Illinois, and a non fiction book on the rogues and scoundrels of early St. Louis under the name Janice Tremeear. Her first horror novel, The Haunting of Booger County, was inspired by true events in the area surrounding Springfield Mo. where she lives with her husband Dean.
