Description

This humorous book explains what Doodle dogs are, and how they came to be (breed-wise). It tells the story of Maeve, who is a Doodle dog with a striking personality! Actually she is a double Doodle, as both of her parents are different kinds of Doodles, themselves. The illustrations depict how well-mannered Doodles can act, as expected in various situations, while the photographs of Maeve show a completely different story of what they might do. A final representation however, shows what they will all ultimately do. In addition to the beautiful illustrations and humorous photographs, this book helps children begin to understand the use of 'can', 'might', and 'will' in conversation and action. Doodle owners and lovers will enjoy Maeve's interpretation of doing what's expected.
