About the Author
TIMOTHY LARSEN is McManis Professor of Christian Thought and Professor of History at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. He is also an Honorary Fellow at Edinburgh University, and has been a Visiting Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge University, and All Souls College, Oxford University. He is the author of nine books, including George MacDonald in the Age of Miracles: Incarnation, Doubt, and Reenchantment, and has edited a dozen volumes, including The Oxford Handbook of Christmas. Articles of his have appeared in many venues, including the Wall Street Journal, Christianity Today, World, Los Angeles Review of Books, Times Literary Supplement, and CNN.com.
